Character: Monosodium phosphate is a colorless column crystal, odorless, slightly deliquescent. It has a relative density of 2.04 and a melting point of 60ºC. This compound is easily soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol. It can convert to a monohydrate salt when heated below 100ºC and to anhydrous substances when heated to 100ºC, eventually becoming sodium metaphosphate.

Usage: In the food industry, monosodium phosphate is utilized as a buffering agent, character improver, emulsifier, nutritional supplement, antioxidant additive, brine penetrable agent, sugar clarifier, stabilizer, coagulant, and fowl scalding agent.

Packing: Each bag of monosodium phosphate is packed with a polyethylene liner and a compound plastic woven outer layer, with a net weight of 25kg.
