Character: Colorless or white crystalline powder, odorless. Efflorescence in air. Acid hydrometer is 1.957 (25/4) to litmus. Melting point is 100°C. Soluble in water and glycerol, insoluble in ethanol. Light toxicity, loses crystal water at 280°C.

Usage: Our food grade sodium metabisulfite is commonly used as food additives, animal feed, in printing and dyeing processes, and as a timber preservative. It is also utilized as an analytical reagent.
Packing: Each bag contains 25kg of product and is packed with a polythene inner layer and a compound plastic woven outer layer for secure transportation and storage.
Storage and Transport: To maintain product integrity, store in a dry and ventilated warehouse, away from water and moisture. During transport, handle with care to prevent bag damage. Store separately from poisonous substances for safety.
