Character: White crystal or powder, odorless, salty taste. Slightly deliquescent, easily soluble in water or glycerine, almost insoluble in ethanol. Relative density of 1.98. Melts and decomposes at 230°C.
Usage: Used in food processing as a buffer, chelate agent, stabilizer, antioxidant, emulsifier, and flavoring. Ideal for dairy products, jelly, jam, meat, tinned pastry, cheese as an emulsifier, and refreshing in oranges. In pharmaceuticals, it treats hypokalemia, potassium depletion, and urine alkalization.
Packing: Packed in polyethylene bag as liner and compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. Each bag weighs 25kg.
