Character: Colorless or white crystalline powder, odorless. Efflorescence in air. Acid hydrometer is 1.957 (25/4) to litmus. Melting point is 100°C. Soluble in water and glycerol, insoluble in ethanol. Light toxicity. Loses crystal water at 280°C.

Usage: Our food grade sodium metabisulfite is a versatile product used as food additives, animal feed, in printing and dyeing processes, and as a timber preservative. It is also commonly used as an analytical reagent.
Packing: Each 25kg bag of our food grade sodium metabisulfite is carefully packed with a polythene inner layer and a compound plastic woven outer layer to ensure product integrity during storage and transport.
Storage and Transport: To maintain product quality, store our food grade sodium metabisulfite in a dry and ventilated warehouse. During transport, keep it away from water and moisture, and handle with care to prevent damage to the packaging. Store separately from poisonous substances for safety.
