Character: White powder, odorless, slight deliquescence, hardly soluble in water (0.095g/100ml 25ºC), almost insoluble in ethanol. It may start to lose crystal water when heated to 100ºC. The crystal will lose water completely when heated to 120ºC.
Usage: In the food industry, it is used as a chelating agent, buffer, coagulant, and calcareous intensifying agent. According to GB1980-94, it can be used in soy products.
Packing: It is packed with a polyethylene bag as the inner layer and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer, with a net weight of 25kg per bag.
Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilating warehouse, kept away from moisture and heat, unloaded with care to avoid damage, and stored separately from poisonous substances.
